Recently, Ooredoo announced the delivery of the first 5G home broadband devices, which is the world’s first home broadband using 3.5 GHz devices.
It is reported that these devices are currently being tested on Ooredoo's 5G network and can operate on Ooredoo 4G and 5G networks at speeds up to 2 Gbps.
With Ooredoo 5G connectivity for 5G home broadband devices, Ooredoo's customers will be able to download movies in seconds, seamlessly transferring VR gaming experiences and video calls.
The company has announced that there are only a few 5G home broadband devices in the world. With the increase in commercial production after the launch of 5G, Ooredoo will strive to ensure that Qatar becomes the first country to provide its customers with next-generation technologies.
Since the first 5G network was released in May 2018, Ooredoo has started to launch a 5G network promotion plan in Qatar with the goal of updating 100 network sites to 5G with 3.5G frequency band within the next three months.
