On the 15th, Qorvo®, Inc. , leading provider of RF solutions in mobile applications, infrastructure and aerospace, defense applications , announced that they launched five new devices including two secondary power amplifiers - QPA4501, QPA3506, two integrated front-end modules - QPB9329, QPB9319, and a wideband driver amplifier - QPA9120, further extending its RF product portfolio for mass MIMO and 5G communication base stations. These highly integrated small-size, high-efficiency modules support all applicable frequency bands (from 3GHz to 39GHz) for both quasi-5G and 5G architectures.
It is expected that by 2022, the market for large-scale MIMO communications base stations will support a $1 billion RF solution.
Qorvo's innovative Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology with industry-leading performance, efficiency, and power enables multiple data streams for higher data capacity while enabling fast and cost-effective implementation of 5G networks.
The new 5G communications products include two secondary power amplifiers, two integrated front-end modules (FEM) and a broadband drive amplifier.
