ECG-100 water blocking cable filling gel is well compatible with high polymer material and steel ,aluminum.But we recommend that the compatibility test should be made before polymer materials are in contact with this gel.
Google builds three submarine cable systems to expand global cloud services
In order to further connect the world and expand global cloud services, Google plans to increase the construction of three submarine fiber optic cable systems and invest hundreds of millions of dollars.
The first is to connect Curie, the submarine cable system in Chile and Los Angeles. This is Google's sole investment in the submarine cable system and the first submarine cable system in Chile that is directly connected to the United States. The second is Havfrue, the US-Denmark-Irish submarine cable system built by the consortium, and the third is the Hong Kong-Guam submarine cable system that was built by the consortium.
Compared to Google spending $30 billion over the past three years to improve its infrastructure, hundreds of millions of dollars of investment is not too much, which will speed up Google's data transmission speed and provide alternative routing when data fails in other areas.
According to Ben Treynor Sloss, vice president of Google Cloud, “These investments have collectively further improved our network, which is the world’s largest corporate network and accounts for 25% of the total Internet traffic worldwide. Companies like PayPal use our network and infrastructure. To conduct business effectively."
It is worth mentioning that the “Curie” submarine cable system named after the famous lady in science home is the first intercontinental submarine cable system built by private enterprise. “Curi” will be the first landing in Chile in the past 20 years. After the deployment of the submarine cable system, "Curie" will be the largest single data channel in Chile, serving Google's users in Latin America.
The investment in the new submarine cable system will also strengthen Google’s ability to compete with Amazon (AWS) and Microsoft in the highly competitive cloud computing space.
Up to now, Google has made direct investments in 11 submarine cable systems, some of which are under construction and some are still under planning.
