Low Density Cable Filler
Insulation breakdown voltage test for low density cable filler
Test standard: BS5874 (active standard BS60156:1996)
Test instrument: Foster OTS100AF (this instrument is dedicated to breakdown voltage test).
Test method: The test container is filled with DL-500 low density cable filler. After each test, remove the tested DL-500 and the fresh DL-500 is loaded for the next test. Repeat 3 times.
Test result: Breakdown voltage of low density cable filler at 21°C is 59kV (Test data between 58 and 60kV) .
We offer two packaging methods: 1000 liters Polytank packaging and 200 liters metal drum packaging. Use and connection are very convenient, these two packagings will not cause pollution to the surrounding environment in a fully confined environment.
Brazil-Argentina submarine cable plans to be put into operation in the first half of 2020
The GlobeNet, a leading telecommunications infrastructure provider in the Americas, announced the deployment of a new submarine cable system that will link Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo to Buenos Aires for a total length of approximately 2,500 kilometers.
This new infrastructure will connect the GlobeNet network between Argentina and Brazil, effectively linking South America with the United States and the world. With the infrastructure already deployed in Bermuda, Brazil, Colombia, the United States and Venezuela, GlobeNet's latest expansion plan will attract more OTTs, and cloud provider and carrier customers will seek to increase their influence across the region.
“Our submarine cable program is designed to meet low latency and high capacity requirements and will be the first direct connection from Argentina to Brazil and the United States since 2001,” said Eduardo Falzoni, CEO of GlobeNet. "As a result, Argentinian Internet users and businesses will be able to enjoy unmatched capabilities when transferring content, accessing cloud services and interconnecting with global data centers with new fiber optic cable systems."
Since GlobeNet's flagship 23,500 km submarine cable system was founded, it has been committed to the expansion and continuous upgrade of its network infrastructure. The company recently announced the creation of a new four-tier data center in Barranquilla, Colombia, and a new central interconnect point (IPX) for the Brazilian Network Information Center (NIC.br) at the GlobeNet Internet exchange in Fortaleza, Brazil. National Internet infrastructure in northern and northeastern Brazil.
According to reports, the new submarine cable system will use the latest technology and design to achieve the best building configuration. It will connect to Sao Paulo via a landing site at Praia Grande at the GlobeNet landing station in Rio de Janeiro, and connect to Buenos Aires via a landing site in Las Toninas, a town on the southeast coast of the capital of Argentina. The new cable system will be put into use in the first half of 2020.
